Arriving at the Venue

You’re welcome to arrive from 7.30 pm at our exclusive venue. This gives you plenty of time to settle in, grab a drink, and ease into the atmosphere. There’s no rush, no pressure, and no awkward standing around wondering what to do next.

Our Love At First Date host will greet you as soon as you arrive. They’ll register you, give you your match card, and make sure you’re all set for an 8 pm start. You don’t need to memorise anything or worry about what happens when — the host guides you through the entire evening so you can simply enjoy yourself.

How the Speed Dating Event Begins

Once everyone is checked in, the host will explain how everything works. You’ll then take your seat at one of the matching tables. Your match card will have a number on it, and this is where you’ll jot down the names or numbers of the people you’d like to see again.

It’s all very relaxed and straightforward. No pressure, no forced conversations, just genuine chats with people who are there for the same reason as you — to meet someone real.

Your Speed Dates

Each date lasts five minutes. It’s just enough time to get a feel for someone without the conversation dragging or becoming awkward. You’ll meet up to 14 other singles throughout the evening, and after each mini‑date, you simply mark on your card whether you’d like to see that person again.

When the host rings the bell, that’s your cue that the date has ended. The men rotate to the next table, while the women stay seated. It’s smooth, organised, and surprisingly fun — the evening moves quickly, and most people are surprised by how natural it all feels.
